Walk on the Wild Side Bed and Breakfast combines the atmosphere of staying in a 1930's Idaho ranch house with all of today's modern conveniences. We are located in picturesque Garden Valley, Idaho, just an hour and a half from downtown Boise.
"Wild Side" sits on five acres with frontage on the Middle Fork of the Payette River.
Wild elk and deer wander our property to graze while across the river you can watch herds of elk belonging to Elk Springs Ranch. Geese and ducks are abundant along the river in addition to bald eagles, hawks, quail and numerous other bird species. Throw in the occasional coyote, fox, porcupine and otter and you can truly "walk on the wild side".
Our accommodations include two guest rooms, a suite, or an apartment, all with incredible views. Our guest rooms have queen beds, private baths, one with a Jacuzzi tub. The apartment has a kitchenette, queen size bed, and private bath with shower.
Our suite features a king-size bed, large Jacuzzi whirlpool spa and adjacent "His & Hers" walk-in shower with a view of the river, mountainside and wildlife.
Like to hike, cross country ski or snowmobile? Canoe, kayak, or raft? It's all nearby. Golf and horseback riding too. Then relax and unwind -- massage therapy is available at Wild Side by appointment.
