As we venture on down the trail to the Mary Murphy Mine, learn how these old-times traced the ore minerals, staked their claims and struck it rich. See an authentic aerial tramway that hauled ore down the mountainside to the connecting mill.
Our Mt. Antero is a must do adventure. Mt. Antero is known as one of the best areas in the United States for mineral and gem collection. At 14,296 feet, it is the highest mountain in the Buena Vista area. As we wind up the rugged trail with its many switchbacks, you will want to have your camera handy for the many magnificent views.
