We launch at sunrise and watch the world wake up below us. We float over the fields and forests of the countryside in Maine, before rising to altitude for distant views of the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and the White Mountains to the west. In Vermont we traverse the gentle mountains at the junctions of the Connecticut and White river valleys.
