Located in the mountains just outside of Asheville on 12 acres, convenient to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, and hiking trails, Owl's Nest Inn at Engadine was built in 1885 and has been completely restored to maintain its Victorian character.
The inn is a retreat for that special occasion or getaway, and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. There are wraparound porches and picnic areas and benches in the meadow to enjoy the mountain views. A full breakfast is served by the fireplace in the formal dining room.
The five guest rooms are spacious, comfortable and have the ambiance of a Victorian home along with modern conveniences such as central air conditioning and ceiling fans.
All rooms have sitting areas and private baths. Four of the rooms have gas fireplaces and the other one has a whirlpool tub for two. We have king, queen or twin beds available.
We also have two new log cabins available. The Cabins of Engadine are situated on a hill overlooking the Inn.
Owl's Nest Inn can accommodate business meetings and small weddings too.
Beehive Cottages offers ten cottages ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms, located in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina on an 86 acre apple farm.
Quiet rural neighborhood located 20 minutes east of Hendersonville, 30 minutes from Asheville and the Biltmore House, an hour from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Mount Mitchell, Pisgah Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains and Harrah's Casino.
After a busy day, head back home to the cabin to relax on the porch and watch a magnificent sunset as the sun slowly dips behind the hills and peace falls over the valley for the evening.
Amenities include: air-conditioning, hot tub on premises, BBQ grill, linens included, telephone jack, toaster, coffeemaker, dishes/utensils provided, and TV.
