A classic Vermont Bed and Breakfast, Nye's Green Valley Farm has welcomed travelers and visitors for nearly two centuries. It was built and used as a stagecoach tavern in the early 1800's.
Nye's Green Valley Farm offers a Vermont country setting in a comfortable and relaxed environment. We have three guest rooms, each with air conditioning. There is a downstairs TV room for everyone's use with a selection of videos and CDs for your enjoyment. There are two other rooms downstairs to read or just relax, or play the piano in the piano room. Smoking is not permitted in the house.
An "all-you-can-eat" Vermont country breakfast is included during your stay, and coffee, tea, juice, and home baked goods are available at all times. Evening meals are available at an extra charge.
The grounds of our Vermont bed and breakfast are filled with flowers. Our sheep, goats and llamas are in the pasture to pat. There are sitting areas outside, and campfires are built on summer weekends to enjoy.
Vermont...no place is quite like it. Almost every activity under the sun can be enjoyed in this picturesque area, and we're in the middle of it all! Smuggler's Notch Resort is less than 15 minutes way; Stowe is only 30 minutes, Burlington is an hour, and Montreal is just 90 minutes away.
You can ski Smuggler's Notch or Jay Peak; snowmobile the VASS trails right from the farm; hike the well known summits of Mount Mansfield, Spruce Peak or Madonna Mountain; go canoeing, rentals are available nearby; or just relax and do nothing as you take in the beauty of the area.
Whatever it is you come to do, you can rest comfortably at Nye's Green Valley Farm at the end of the day!
Hollister Hill Farm is located in Marshfield, in beautiful Central Vermont.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING, SHOWSHOEING, SLEDDING, and SNOWMOBILING on our fields and miles of beautiful, well maintained trails and back country roads right out our door. ICE SKATE on our farm's 1 acre pond. Only 45 minutes to Stowe, Waitsfield and Warren for DOWNHILL SKIING.
After a day of playing in the snow, you can warm up by the cozy fire in our common room and enjoy a complimentary snack!
Then retire to one of three lovely large double bedrooms with queen size beds. Two of the double rooms have working fireplaces, and the third guest room has a sauna. One of the double rooms adjoins a smaller room that, when combined, form a suite that is ideal for a family.
You'll enjoy a family style breakfast each morning in our large country kitchen. We proudly serve as much of our own farm raised food as possible in the preparation of meals.
Relax and just enjoy the bucolic setting, and bask in the openness of our fields and sky. If you like, you can lend a hand in our organic garden, join in or just watch the feeding and care of our animals, or participate in the many changing activities of the farm during each of the seasons.
There's hiking or biking right out our front door on the many miles of beautiful backroads and well maintained trails. Or, if you want to venture off the hill, we are just a 20-minute ride to Montpelier, 45 minutes to Stowe, and an hour ride to Burlington.
